| چکیده | ||
| مقدمه: 0/5 تا 1% کودکان مبتلا به صرع هستند و 20% آنها نسبت به درمان مقاومند. توپیرامات یک داروی ضد صرع قوی است که به عنوان تک دارو یا همراه با سایر داروهای ضد صرع برای درمان انواع مختلفی از صرع مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد؛ا ما مطالعه ی چاپ شده ای در باره ی اثر آن در کودکان ایرانی توسط نویسندگان این مقاله یافت نشد. به همین علت این مطالعه با هدف بررسی اثر توبیرات در کودکان دارای صرع مقاوم به درمان انجام شده است. روش کار: این مطالعه توصیفی در سال 1384در کلینیک اعصاب کودکان بیمارستان قائم (عج) انجام شد. تعداد 24 بیمارمبتلابه صرع مقاوم وارد مطالعه شدند. برای همه بیماران، توپیرامات علاوه بر سایر داروها به میزان روزانه 3 میلی گرم در هر کیلوگرم شروع و حداکثر تا 9 میلی گرم در هر کیلوگرم افزایش داده شد. مدت تجویز داروحداقل 2 ماه بود و هر گونه تغییر در تعداد تشنجات پس از مصرف دارو و نیز عوارض احتمالی ناشی از مصرف دارو و مشخصات فردی در پرسشنامه جمع آوری و سپس با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و جداول توزیع فراوانی پردازش شد. نتایج: متوسط تعداد تشنج بیماران در ماه 119/95 تشنج بود که پس از مصرف توپیرامات، این تعداد به 53/41 تشنج کاهش یافت. تشنجات در 25% بیماران کاملاً برطرف گردید و در 20/9% از آنان، نیز هیچ گونه کاهشی در تعداد تشنجات مشاهده نشد. نتایج این مطالعه نمایانگر موثر بودن توپیرامات در کاهش تعداد دفعات تشنج است. نتیجه گیری: با توجه به تاثیر مناسب و عوارض کمتر توپیرامات، پیشنهاد می شود این دارو به طور فزاینده ای در درمان بیماران مبتلا به صرع به کار گرفته شود. | ||
