چکیده
دیسمنوره اولیه از علل شایع مراجعه‌ به درمانگاههای زنان است که با ضایعه لگنی همراه نیست. به علت شیوع بالا و ناتوانی در تسکین ایده‌آل آن، باعث محدودیت فعالیت‌های روزانه و غیبت از محل کار و مدرسه می‌شود. درمان‌های مختلفی برای دیسمنوره وجود دارد که معمولا همراه با عارضه هستند. بسیاری جهت کم کردن عوارض دنبال روش‌های بی‌عارضه و اثربخش هستند. این مطالعه به بررسی اثر بی‌دردی Period Patch در دیسمنوره پرداخته است.
روش بررسی: این مطالعه مداخله‌ای روی 70 خانم مبتلا به دیسمنوره اولیه انجام شد. شرکت کنندگان دریکی از دو گروه دریافت‌ کننده مفنامیک اسید و Period Patch حاوی پودر آهن، کربن فعال، آهن‌ربا، آب و نمک قرارگرفتند. دو روش درمانی برای یک چرخه قاعدگی استفاده شد. میزان بهبودی دردهای قاعدگی با گفتگو و بوسیله‌ی Numerical analogue pain scale که دارای نمره صفر تا ده بود تعیین ‌شد. در انتها میزان اثربخشی روشها در کاهش درد مقایسه گردید. در این بررسی کاهش درد حداقل به میزان 25 درصد به عنوان اثربخشی درمان در نظر گرفته شد.
یافته‌ها: 70 نفر در دو گروه 35 نفری بررسی را به پایان رساندند. دو گروه از نظر میانگین سن، میانگین شاخص توده بدنی، وضعیت تأهل، فراوانی انجام ورزش، مصرف سیگار و سن شروع قاعدگی همسان بودند. میزان اثربخشی در گروه مفنامیک اسید 22 مورد (9/62 %) و در گروه Period Patch 13 مورد (1/37 %) بود که اختلاف معنی‌داری را نشان داد (P=0.031).
نتیجه‌گیری: در این مطالعه اثر بی‌دردی مفنامیک اسید نسبت به Period Patch در درمان دیسمنوره اولیه بیشتر است.
