چکیده
مقدمه: یکی از روش‌های معمول ختم بارداری در حاملگی‌های طول کشیده، آماده‌سازی سرویکس با گذاشتن سوند فولی در بیمارستان می‌باشد. اخیراً در مورد آماده‌سازی سرویکس به‌طور سرپایی جهت کاهش مدت بستری مطالعاتی انجام شده است. مطالعه حاضر با هدف مقایسه نتایج آماده‌سازی سرویکس به‌صورت سر‌پایی و بستری انجام شد. 
روش‌کار: این مطالعه مورد شاهدی در سال 1398 بر روی 231 زن با حاملگی طول کشیده انجام شد. ابتدا سوند فولی از راه سرویکس برای آنان گذاشته شد. گروه سر‌پایی به منزل فرستاده شدند و گروه دیگر بستری شدند. پس از دفع سوند در دو گروه اینداکشن با استفاده از میزوپروستول و اکسی‌توسین انجام شد. مدت بین گذاشتن سوند تا دفع آن و تا زمان زایمان، دوز میزوپروستول و اکسی‌توسین مصرفی، مدت بستری، بروز تب بعد از زایمان و میزان سزارین در دو گروه تعیین شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS (نسخه 16) و آزمون‌های کای دو، تی مستقل و یا معادل ناپارامتری انجام شد. میزان p کمتر از 05/0 معنی‌دار در نظر گرفته شد. 
یافته‌ها:اختلاف فاصله زمانی بین گذاشتن سوند و دفع سوند (000/0=p) و فاصله زمانی بین گذاشتن سوند و زایمان (046/0=p) بین دو گروه معنی‌دار و در گروه بستری کمتر بود. میزان نیاز به میزوپروستول (000/0=p) و نیاز به اکسی‌توسین (02/0=p) بین دو گروه متفاوت و در گروه سرپایی کمتر بود. روش زایمان و میزان تب بعد از زایمان در دو گروه تفاوت معنی‌داری نداشت (202/0=p، 892/0=p) و مدت بستری نیز در گروه سرپایی کوتاه‌تر بود (051/0=p).
نتیجه‌گیری: آماده‌سازی سر‌پایی سرویکس در حاملگی طول کشیده به‌صورت سرپایی بدون عارضه و باعث طول مدت بستری کوتاه‌تر می‌شود.
